Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of this. Wayne and Lucy were frequently hosting a group of young married from Banner St Church. That was soon after our move to GR and early in our marriage. Lifelong friendships developed and wisdom was shared. So appreciated the Batdorff's hospitality.

Sorry for your loss Lucy . I knew you guys from Sandy's restaurant. Fran Cordell

Very sorry to hear of Wayne´s passing. Wayne and Lucy were good friends of my parents Ed and Marilyn Lawrence. So happy we have the assurance of Heaven and I am sure mom and dad were there to greet Wayne at his home going. Prayers for comfort to Lucy and the family.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Batdorff was neighbors first to my grandparents, the DuBois', then to my family. My children, Bradley, Brandon, and Makenna LOVED him and made sure to talk to him each time they saw him... I'm sure way too much when they were little. He was a kind and gentle soul and always welcomed the conversation. He will be missed.

Sweet Thought Bouquet

Wayne had a smile that made us feel welcome. He and Lucy always had a cheerful thought to share. Great examples of the Faith.

I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers go out to you all. Wayne and Lucy were such an integral part of my Banner Church family. I´m sending you extra hugs, Lucy! Thankful we´ll see Wayne again.

Love and prayers are sent! As a lifetime good friend of Tim´s - and teammate from the Wolverines circa 1980 - I have such fond memories of Mr. Batdorff! He was a very, very good man and I feel fortunate to have had him as part of my life...

Tim, Jami, and family. I am so sorry to read about your loss. My heart breaks for all of you. Praying for you
