Not sure what to say?

Wayne was Best Man at my wedding in 1964, my husband´s best friend, and one of the finest people I have ever known. He visited often, we hung out a lot, sang together in our kitchen.....so many wonderful memories. Life has a way of happening, friends part, jobs change, education happens, but our paths crossed now and again. He was always the same - sweet, funny, caring. I will always remember him and smile. Prayers for his family and many, many friends.

Am very sorry to hear of his passing. We were some kin through his mother I believe and I remember his father selling newspapers downtown as a child. My family also attended Hinton Avenue and I remember hearing him sing in the church choir. Please accept my condolences for myself and family.

I met Wayne at my first real job when he introduced himself at the Stop and Shop downtown. I was in high school and worked part-time there. Over the years, we would run into each other from time to time, and then more often at the Elks Lodge. Wayne was one of the nicest persons I ever met, treating everyone with grace and kindness. I will miss seeing him and know he will be missed by many others. My sincere condolences to Wayne's family at this sad time. Larry Suddarth

Actually Wayne was in my band first !! The Saints were formed as the show band for the 1957 Senior Follies at Lane High School. Wayne was a terrific trombone player !! He was a great friend as well !! We did many musical gigs together !!!! I wish his family all the best as they respond to his loss !! I will miss him !! Don Taylor
