So so sorry to hear this, Wayne was such a great neighbor we had for years! He was an amazing guy! I remember him from teaching at west but who would of thought he would end up being our neighbor later in years. Rest In Peace Wayne. Thoughts and prayers for Family!

Mr. B was my auto mechanics shop teacher back in the '70's. I learned so much from him that I received scholarship honors with Shell Oil. He was the best. RIP Mr. B. You were an example to follow.

Mr Behrens was my alltime favorite teacher in 1978-80. He taught me and many others how to make things in machine tools and machine. Favorite memory was learning how to read the micrometer with in 20 mins in very 1st class, alot couldnt understand to read it for at least a month or 2. Also in 2nd yr we made smaller brass cannon in wooden frame and wheels. RIP Mr Behrens Al Shafer.

So sorry to read this. Condolences to the family. Such a kind man. I remember him from Davenport West, class of 74. My father enjoyed conversations with him as my father would walk his dogs down Utah Ave towards Telegraph Rd.
