I had just gottin out of gym class when we heard a yell. He had jammed his finger in the weights that some kids had rigged on purpose knowing Mr carter would fix it. He lost his finger that day. Mr carter was and still is my role model. He looked out for me knowing I needed a male role model. I miss Mr carter. He will never be forgotten

I went to UNC with Wayne, he was a great person to be around, and had a huge heart for those around him. He was taken from us way too soon.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
