Hazel, Zachary & Family,
Words do not seem adequate at a time like this but you all have been in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Wayne was a special person to me. My fondest memory of him was that when he came to our home in North Carolina, he always complimented me about my desserts and cooking in general. He always thanked me when he left for "putting up with him" and going beyond to make their visit special. I do hope that he is at peace now and I sincerely hope...

Dear Hazel and family,
I first met Wayne when I was working at Jacksonville University more than 30 years ago. He has been so helpful to me. All the guidance, stories, bits of wisdom always with humor, and his strength. So many favorite memories. Farewell to my Pollywog Friend. Blessings and God's grace to all of you. Most sincerely, Kathleen Nelson
