Why do I keep thinking about that little boy I used to swing around and tease? He hated his nickname and for that reason I won't mention it here.
Then, when he was about seven years old, we visited friends of the family and Sandy, their teenage daughter, told him he reminded her of Hoss (from Bonanza) and she loved Hoss. From that moment on, he was Hoss. He was totally smitten.
