Marilyn and family, please accept my belated condolences on the passing of Rev. DeYoung. I just ran across this in an email, and was shocked and saddened to see the news. I have thought of The Rev often as he had such an impact on me at WCS through the track program and Bible class. I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Rev. De Young. I had a lot of fun with "The Rev" in class as well as running on the track team at WCS. He was a great guy with a big heart who loved what he did as well as all of his students. He will be greatly missed.

I was just informed of Wayne's departure this morning. I was asked if I remembered Wayne! How could I ever forget such a great person, coach, teacher, and mentor! I thoroughly enjoyed my couple of years coaching track with Wayne at WCS in Miami. We had some great moments and stories that have stayed with me all the years since.

I heard through my sister-in-law, Lois, who works at Dordt College about Wayne's passing. We were so glad to have been to see you a couple of years ago for coffee.
