I am so saddened by this news of Wayne's death. We were friends for many years in Nashville,. I miss knowing he is on the planet and hope his death was an easy one. Wayne was an important influence and help in my life . My thoughts are with all who loved him and any family and friends in Smyrna, Ga.

I just recently learned of Coach's passing...
I played for and coached with him at Vanderbilt...He was so supportive and passionate about the game his players...SEC Coach of the Year and some kind of guy !!!

We are sending love and keeping the Dobbs family in our prayers. Ray Thomas (my Dad) had so much fun living life with Wayne Dobbs. Our whole family loved him and we will miss him so much.

We are so sorry for you loss. Wayne and I started our teaching careers together at Southwest DeKalb High School, Decatur, GA. I enjoyed his friendship.

"Da Boys of Campbell" will miss Wayne's smile and dedication. We've lost a dear friend. May he Rest in Peace with his Lord.
