WAYNE DOUGLAS

The email reminding me of this anniversary was foreshadowed by several happy memories of Wayne in recent weeks and thoughts of what she would have said about this or that. I always think of her when I correct the pronouns referencing God in our service prayers. What a large presence, and personality you shared with us, Wayne. I'm sorry I didn't know you well enough to have seen more of your many talents and your family. You are missed, Wayne Douglas.

My condolences to the Douglas family and friends. Take comfort in what God has said "I myself am the One that is comforting you people. Isaiah 51:12.

To the family: My deep sympathy is with you all. The God of comfort will sustain you during this time of grief. Please see Psalms 68:19 it is very encouraging.

Wayne was an amazing presence at St. Peters, particularly in the choir. I will remember her love of many traditional hymns, and of singing them, and her strong opinions of those that didn't fit the mold. I am sorry for the loss her family is suffering, but am also sorry for the space that will be empty in our group. We will cherish her memory.
