Not sure what to say?

Kyoshi Eaton remains well-remembered. The difficult times and the quiet times alike bring a smile to this old student. As the lessons received pass to another generation, I recall the cold fish, the warm saki, and shout, Kampai!

I have never forgotten my practice with him, am deeply sorry to hear of Kyoshi's, passing!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time of great loss. Mr. Eaton was my English teacher at Tabb High School 82 to 83. He was such a great man and made English class fun and interesting. I have fond memories of him letting us listen to music, then writing an essay about the message it conveyed. Many people don't remember their high school teachers, but I will never forget him. I'm so very sad to hear this news. Prayers and hugs to all. Liz Pfeiffer Niceville...

Oh, the memories of senior English ('86) with Shihan Eaton!!! I'll always remember studying "Siddhartha" and our all-famous Multimedia project. I love to go back and read the comments and wisdom from Mr. Eaton - which is the reason I still have those papers, at age 52.

To my Shihan's family - Wasn't he one of the most interesting, unique and talented people you knew?!?

To my Shihan - Thank you!

I've been thinking about Kyoshi Eaton a lot lately, just before I heard the sad news and even more since. I am the person I am today, in part, due to Wayne Eaton. I studied Shorin Ryu with him up through my brown belt. He taught me a lot about patience, focus, and determination. The mindset that I developed through my martial arts studies in the York County Shorinkan is still helping shape my approach to life, including the values I try to instill in my children. It's weird timing that I...

I hate that I missed this news and the wake/funeral. Mr Eaton was not only a teacher of mine in high school, class of 91, but for a summer or so a teacher in martial arts. What I learned from him in and out of the classroom has stuck with me for my whole life. Im a better person for have known him and still continue to carry those many lessons learned during my time spent with him to this very day...

He was so important early in my life as a teacher and instructor. I was fortunate to have him for Martial Arts and English. A great man and an amazing human being. I know he is in heaven and I have asked a few family members to welcome him in prayer. God Bless him and his family.

Thank you I wish that I had stayed in better touch and told you more of the positive impact you made on my life.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Wayne's family, especially Gaelyn, Chris, Grace & Blaise. Also Ms. Linda and all his many friends and former students. R.I.P.

Thank you Kyoshi for welcoming me into your school and you "family". I will always remember making apple sauce and sparring in the icy grass. Rest in peace sir. REI!!

My deepest sympathies and condolences to your family, friends and students.
