Wayne Lee Fetty

I liked the way Wayne would answer the phone.
God was always first in his life and you knew when he answer the phone He was.

HE USE TO WORK FOR MY MOTHER DURING THE SUMMERS. HE WAS A GOOD PERSON FOR SURE. HE, I BELIEVE HAD MY SON. FOR A HEALTH TEACHER. ALL STUDENTS LOVED HIM. HE IS MISSED, ALWAYS WILL BE FOREVER

My Mother and son loved Mr. Fetty. She is also gone, more than likely Wayne. Is still helping her ? No, amount of time can erase the fact. How much Wayne, meant to my family and all who knew him. Never for got in New Martinsville WVA.

He was a great person & always picked on me saying. "If you have a problem child, send them to Miss Mitchell. she can handle anyone."

Coach Fetty was much more than just a coach in sports. He encouraged everyone he met to be the best they could be in everything they would do. There is not a doubt in my mind that I would not be where I am right now in life if I had never had the honor and pleasure of getting to know him. He was probably the most Godly man I ever met. Saddened to read of Wayne's passing. He, Carolyn, and the family were my neighbors on Rt. 7 near New Martinsville, WV. We rode the school bus together. My condolences to the family.

Wayne was a champion for the youth. I know, without question that he is helping Jesus Christ with all of the sports teams in HEAVEN. Wayne helped me many times throughout my life. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, during a Young Men's Christian group, with Wayne right next to me. He was always a great coach for me, in every aspect of my track and field career in Magnolia High School. Thank you coach, for being a friend, and helping all of us prosper in life. Yes, MR. FETTY was a good man. My son had him in high school. Believe it was health class. Any way in summer time he cut mothers grass. Plus 1000 and one things for her. This went on for several years. Sure he will be in peoples prayers. [email protected]

I was saddened when my dad told me that Coach Fetty had passed, but also encouraged by thoughts of him worshiping Jesus in heaven. I have many wonderful memories of him as my friend Erik's father and as a very special coach to me as a young boy learning basketball (will never forget "Redwood!") and as a highschooler running cross country. Mrs. Fetty, Erik, Jo Ellen, and all your family, I pray that God will give you his comfort.
