Not sure what to say?

I only knew Wayne professionally in the grant world for a short period of time, but he was always willing to help his peers out and passionate about his work. His loss to the grant world will be felt and my condolences to his family.

Wayne was an admirer and advocate for the environment and the staff at the Environmental Protection Commission sends our condolences, thoughts and prayers for the passing of Wayne. He was such a sweet, kind and friendly person. May God comfort everyone who knew and loved Wayne and let us always appreciate all the good works that he left behind.

I had the genuine pleasure of knowing and working with Wayne in the grants field over the course of about 12 years, including as colleagues at the National Grants Management Association. I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of all Comfort give you peace in your heart. S.C.

Words can barely express the feeling of loss. Please know you were loved and will forever be missed.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy in your loss. I worked with Wayne when he was at the City of St. Petersburg - he made a deep impression on me as he was so kind, caring, considerate and always there to help. May he rest in peace.

We will miss seeing Wayne's smiling face and hearing his hello's when out and about. He was a kind and generous man with his help and his time and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Erick and his family during this difficult time.

I am so thankful to have known Wayne. His generosity, enthusiasm and kindness were a blessing to me personally and to all his friends at the Mirror Lake Library. He was a great advocate for libraries and his presence and support will be greatly missed. The staff of Mirror Lake Library wish to express our deepest condolences to Wayne's family and especially to Monika and Eric.

After many years of being out of touch Wayne had reached out several months ago and said he would be back in touch when in the Winter Park area again.

I was deeply saddened to read the news of his passing in today's Sentinel and can only assume that it was sudden and unexpected. Deepest sympathies to all of his family.
