Mr.Fleming will always be remembered in my heart as what a father should be. He was my teacher in 1989 and he always had an encouraging word for his students, even in Summer school. He made each of his students feel that they could achieve. He was like a surrogate father figure to many of his students and will not be forgotten. May God comfort your hearts.

Flem was a major icon for me and friends from Montclair High School (89). When I think of basketball I see Flem chewing gum, always encouraging me to work harder and be better. He was a positive role model and treated us ALL like his own children. Well respected and never ever forgotten.

I was in Mr Flemings class in the mid 70's, it is so sad to have someone so young pass away, but he left a huge legacy behind, not only his children but also the children he taught and help in their journey through life.
