Not sure what to say?

by Paula S. Gilbert Conway

Grandpa, the sadness and guilt I possess cannot be described in words... but I am reminded everyday of how much I miss you. Mom use to tell me stories; the good and the funny; and how she was grateful to you and grandma for the love and care you provided her. I still have have one of mom's photography class projects from 30 years on my bookshelf hanging next to my bed for the last 16 years. Mom needed a subject and found you smoking your pipe in the driveway leaning on the truck. I always...

Grandpa,
every day I get new feelings about you being gone, even more of our memories pop into my head, I hear songs that somehow remind me of you, and i see pictures. I feel every day gets alot farther from the last time I saw you but I realize Im just closer to the next time I will see you. Not a day goes by that you're not on my mind all the time no matter what I'm doing. I miss all the good advice you would give me, rubbing your soft hair, and talking to you. I miss and love you so...

So many memories of summers spent in Missouri at Grandmas house. Us "kids" always enjoyed your kindness, warmth, laughter, and the twinkle in your eye. (Also the smell of your pipe!)
Cindy, "JD's daughter"

Wayne Gibertt was like a brother rather than a brother-in-law. We will forever miss him. He was such a delight in anything we ever did with him. Scotty and I enjoyed camping so much with Wayne and Pauline; we just got started doing it together to late life. Wayne was a gentleman and a scholar and fun to be around.

Such a special man has passed away but his wisdom, humor, and warmth will live forever with all of you who loved him.
Sending our condolences,
Cathy, Gerald, Natalie and Nicholas Lemonnier

Sometimes we can find the right words to say
Sometimes we can only stand beside one another and let our closeness say what words cannot
Please know that
our hearts and prayers are with you

I miss you. always and forever.

I remember your dad very well. A special memory is of him driving us to away football games in the camper. So much fun! He was a great role model. I am sorry for your family and your mom's loss.
