Not sure what to say?

My sympathies to the Grube family. You will be missed by Rover Nation and by everyone you touched. Coach Grube taught us to work together as a team and to accomplish what many others did not think was possible. He treated everyone with respect, whether you were a superstar or the last man on the roster. You will always be remembered in the hearts of those you touched. God Bless you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I first met Coach Grube while coaching for Southern Lehigh. I found him to be a delightful human being who presented himself with a great deal of class. He shall be missed.

Sincerely,

Randy Durich
Former football coach at Southern Lehigh High School

I knew Knobby since we were both 15. He was my teammate, classmate and very special friend through high school, the Navy and college.
While he was an outstanding Teacher and Coach and I became involved with the Union Building Trades and Labor movement we shared our political views and still maintained a special friendship. I always knew that I could count on him and he knew that he could always count on me.
Wayne will be greatly missed by Marge and me.
Patti, Kim,Charisse,and Andi,...

The employees of Wegmans Meat department will certainly miss Mr. Grube. It was an honor to know him and he always brightened our day. We send our sincere sympathy to your family.

My deepest sympathies to the Grube Family. Know that Wayne made a lasting impression on everyone he had contact with. I had the pleasure of being one of his students at Wilson. I always felt the title of his class would have been more appropriately called "Life" rather than social studies. He had a way of butchering the english language and using colorful nicknames. He encouraged us to think for ourselves and not get caught up in the pit-falls of peer pressure. My education at Wilson was...

Dear Patti and Family,

I'm sorry for your loss. Wayne will be missed by many. Not only was he a great football coach. But he was the best baseball coach I had. Patti, I always enjoyed talking with the two of you . I pray that God will heal your heart.

To the Grube Family,
I would like to express my heart felt sympathy for your loss. I attended Easton Football games when I was 2yrs. old and would admire the man known as "Knobby." Later on in life I finally got the chance to meet and talk with him and it was very special for me to have the opportunity to talk with someone I had idolized as a kid. He will be profoundly missed.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

Dear Charisse,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. There are many that have such fond memories of him. Take comfort in that he touched many lives and made a difference. Godspeed.
