Wayne Hayes

I think of Wayne often and regret not reaching out while he was on this earth. My memories of our youth together are now our fairytale. . Love and miss you Gingle.

I still think of Wayne. Memories drift in covering me with a sense of calm presence. Much like the feeling of sitting in a boat on the water while being tethered to the wharf. He had a strong stabilizing presence which has stayed with me. Thank you Wayne. Love always.

Wayne and I shared a room in residence at UNB Fredericton a lifetime ago. I was curious and was looking him up when I found this obituary. I am so sorry for your loss he was a good friend at university but as will happen we drifted apart over the years. I remember his love of music and how he would play the banjo in the room as he was learning it. So sorry I did not try to reconnect earlier.

Wayne was a soulmate and dear friend for several wonderful years in Fredericton. I have many things he made, which I will always cherish. I am happy that his life touched so many and I look forward to seeing him one day in the next world.

Wayne was a very special person, my friend, my teacher, my roommate, my workmate, my love interest. I lost touch with him many years ago and have searched for him many times. I am sad that I am too late for one more conversation. I loved being around him. He was warm and smiled like a child, pure spirited. I will always treasure the memories of adventures and quiet conversations and advice to never stop loving.

Im sorry Wayne. I loved coming out to see you, and wish I could have done it again before you left us. You were an incredible inspiration over the years and look to you as an older brother. Man I am gonna miss you.

So sad to hear of Wayne's passing. I can see that he was well-loved by those who knew him. He used his talents for the joy of others and his work was like meditation to him as he put so much into it. He was a wonderful musician and very humble about it. Wayne kept in touch over the years with unique and beautiful cards. With deepest sympathy to Dave and all Wayne's friends. Wishing Wayne peace.

I am so sad to learn that Wayne gained his wings as he was already a sweet angel on this earth. He was passionate about his work and loved to play his music. I wished I would have met him sooner.

Wayne left the world a better place. We were close friends at UNB and kept in touch over the years sharing music and YouTube videos, news and observations. I will miss this sweet spirited man.
