Wayne James passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 70 in Louisville, Kentucky. Funeral Home Services for Wayne are being provided by Legacy Funeral Center - Scott Chapel.
Mr. James was our neighbor for the past 11 years and we loved the way he would sit on the porch and wave to everyone. He and I would stop and talk about life, God, family whatever was on his mind that day. May God bless the family during this time. He once told me that waving to everyone made his neighbors feel more like family. He was a wise man.

So sorry the the loss of Rev. James. There are many memories from the Lanier Memorial Baptist Church, to many to name but the main one is he took me to the water. The walk from 15th to Hale and much more. Prayers to the family.
