Not sure what to say?

John and I are sorry for the loss of your father. He sold us practically every stick of furniture in our house. He was a very nice man and a pleasure to do business with.

I'm sorry I missed the service. Wayne was a good friend of all our family and a welcome guest in our home during his high school years. My sister Glenda Galpin Rush graduated with him from Garces. They were both in the furniture business and had a lifelong friendship. We'll miss you.

Wayne, I will miss your upbeat personality and your strength of character. You were an extremely hard worker and a great football player for Garces back in the 50's. God bless you friend, say hi to Vince , Billy and our son Jason. love you Wayne! Randy

Always appreciated his outgoing personality, and cheered his numerous touchdown runs on the football field. But for some reason, I repeatedly chuckle about a basketball game in our sophomore year between the Garces and East High "B Teams". East High's deeper bench prevailed at the end. But, in the closing seconds of the first half, Wayne sunk a desperation shot from the half court line. Even the East high team erupted in applause.

When my mother passed, Wayne attended the Rosary. His voice was so strong, his conviction so great, booming from the back of the chapel I knew that everything was OK. It was one of many good and generous things he did for me. I am sad that I cannot attend his service; it will be a debt left unpaid to a fine man.

I know that many will attend as Wayne has many that love him. I hope that their collective voice can provide comfort to the family as Wayne's voice did for me so many...

A HEART of Gold stopped breathing today.
Will miss you until we meet again.
Forever in Him

Rest in peace, dear friend and classmate. I shall remember you always.

I met Wayne at the gym back in 1982 and he was a fantastic man with a great personality. I had many conversations with him back then and when I would run into him over the years, he was always so polite, friendly, and engaging. He showed a genuine interest in you and what you were doing when he spoke with you. A terrific guy who will be missed. My condolences and prayers for the Jett Family.

Farewell Classmate. You have had a life well lived and will see you on the other side. Our condolences and prayers to all your family and friends.
