Wayne Jones

E. Wayne Jones, 83, Brookfield, passed away Tuesday March 01, 2011 at Pershing Memorial Hospital. E. Wayne, son of John Franklin and Clarissa (Phillips) Jones was born on May 15, 1927 in Chance, Missouri. He graduated from Windyville High School in 1942. In 1943 at the age of sixteen he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving with the 20th. Infantry Division. He was an insurance salesman for more than fifty years with Globe Life. In November 1946 he married Alyce Hatcher and to this union were two children. In March of 1964 he married Clydene Hill and to this union were four children. Wayne is survived by his wife Clydene of the home. His children, Jimmie Wayne and wife Lavada Jones, Janna Marie Jones and partner Kate Jones, Julia Bernildia and husband Randy Edgar, E. Dean and wife Kelly Jones, Jodie Marie and husband Thomas Poor and Donna Louise and husband Scott Armstrong. Grandchildren, Anna M Jones, Jonathon Wayne Jones, David Alexander Jones, Jacob Edgar, Ashley Jones, Kevin Jones, Daniel Jones, Gabe Poor, Peyton and Zane Armstrong. To all of his grandchildren he was lovingly referred to as Pa. Eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are three sisters, Pansy Varner, Dorothy Cline and Nadine Garrison all of Buffalo, Missouri. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, one great-granddaughter and his beloved dog, Biscuit.
