My thoughts and prayers to Wayne's family. Although we haven't had much contact I have so many fond memories. One that sticks out is waiting at the bus depot on the trip to Detroit for our induction physicals. Everytime I hear "Mrs. Jones" I think of that time. He was a brave soldier and I am sure he is looking down at us with a smile. I salute you Wayne.

The Lowry family, I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I remember in 3rd grade Wayne and I were in the same class and he showed up at school with a ring from a bubble gum machine and wanted to know If I would "go steady" with him that is one memory I have always had of Wayne that still makes me smile. I am sure he will be greatly missed my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had only meet Wayne once, when he came to California for Christmas 2007 to spend time with his son Wes, Becky and his grand-dog, Trooper La Rue. Just in the short time he was here I found Wayne to be charming and living his life the way he wanted to, he had a great many stories to tell and he was very proud of all 3 of his children. Wes & Becky went to the island in Aug. 2008 to visit Wayne and came home with more stories to tell, some of which they couldn't...

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. I will always enjoy my memories of Wayne, when we were playing football or when he was teaching me how to drive a stick. Good times.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Lowry family. I hadn't seen much of Wayne in recent years, but I have fond memories of the time we spent together. He will be missed.
