Not sure what to say?

Only had a few brief interactions with Wayne over some years cycling, it was obvious to me he was the kind of good person that makes this world a better place. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

So thankful to serve with Wayne.

Thinking of you and your family and wishing you the best during this difficult time.

In loving memory- he will be missed.

Condolences to the family. I fondly remember growing up in Illinois and the summer family get-togethers at Grandmother Marsh's. Too soon my cousin.

We knew Wayne's parents, Denzel and Nadine at Third Baptist, decades ago, in fact, Linda taught the Sunday School Class which Nadine attended. Then a few short years ago, we came to know and love Wayne and Sue, and made the connection.. small world.

Like others, we recognize Wayne, and Sue, as being a champion for Christ, with the true heart of a servant(s). Wayne is dearly missed, and it feels so wrong that he was taken, for now. Yet, we are joyful for his "gain" as put forth by...

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. And so it is that God surrounds us with loving family and friends to endure life’s hardships and share its joys. My friendship with Wayne goes back nearly 70 years: I was devastated when his family moved from St. Louis to Sullivan, but overjoyed when they returned to Normandy a few years later. We crossed paths infrequently after high school, but I did visit a few times at West Point, served as best man when Wayne and Sue got married,...

Wayne was a classmate at West Point (Class of 1965) and good friend. Our paths diverged after graduation. But I am certain that "goodness and mercy followed him all the days of his life and that he dwells in the house of the Lord forever"

Oh, Sue, I’m so sorry to hear this. I cannot think of a more kind man than Wayne. While I haven’t ridden with the bike group in a long time, he was such a wonderful bike group friend. May your many happy memories help your through an unimaginable time.
