What a great and humble man Wayne was,always a smile,a funny story,some great pickin...the last year of his life our band Local Corn was blessed to have Wayne play with us when he was able.Such great times and memories.RIP my friend,see you again someday

Although I didn't know Wayne personally, I do know he played banjo at a fundraiser for my now deceased husband. He died of cancer as well. I was told that Wayne was passionate about playing at fund raisers and benefits. I want you to know I am deeply touched by this and wish I would have thanked him and told him how much it was appreciated. I am doing the next best thing by thanking you.
