Read MoreI never had the fortune to meet Mr. Mehl, but I have worked with his son for several years. Wayne Jr. shared this link with me today. After reading Mr. Mehl's obituary, I can see the apple does not fall far from the tree. He is kind to everyone, a protector and advocate for those without a voice, and passionate about giving back to the community.

Wayne was a courageous and amazing man. I admired his strength and sense of adventure especially after getting PD. His travels and desire to just keep going showed a man of strong inner faith. He was always a pleasure to talk with and listen to. Your care of him was incredible. Your devotion and willingness to go the last part of his journey with him was a gift of immeasurable proportions.
