Not sure what to say?

Dear Carol, so sorry to read about Wayne. He was one in a million. Enjoyed all of our time together. My prayers are with you and Craig. Martha Minard Campbell

Carol and family
Just heard from Donna at Gary's Memorial Service that Wayne had just passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. Memories of the two of you are precious. We had so much fun together. My prayers are with you.

In 1974, I left Michigan forever...but not before I worked a year for Wayne at the old Crawford-Hall Co. He was a joy to be around, and a pleasure to know. My late father also knew Wayne and thought the world of him. Wayne was witty, intelligent, and loved life. He enjoyed people and had a generosity of spirit not found in every man. The world is poorer without him.

Wayne's family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers for many days.

Prayers and sympathies to you Carol, Craig and the rest of the Mertz family.

Condolences to the Mertz family. I played golf with Wayne at Swan Valley for quite a few years. He was a great guy and a real gentleman. I remember "buying" a golf cart cover from him that he didn't need anymore. I had to force him to take some money for it.

My sympathy to the Mertz family. Wayne always had a smile on his face. He is now with "Tootie", his daughter Dawn. Rest in peace.

My sympathy to the Mertz family. Wayne always had a smile on his face. He has gone home to be with "Tootie" (his loving daughter Dawn). So many memories.

A good man, a good father, a good husband and a good friend. I will certainly miss him. My sympathies to his wonderful wife Carol and son Craig. R.I.P. old buddy
