Gone way to soon cousin. I'll always Love you and miss your infectious loving sprit and attitude. I know your were in pain for so many years and for so many reasons but as your character would have it, you wouldn't show it or let others know the depths of that pain. Always smiling, always joking and storytelling with a heart as big as Texas. That's how I'll always remember you; my cousin, Wayne ("li'l Waynie") Mitchell - the one and only.

Wayne was one of my "sons" he was my son's friend from 5th grade on. I spent many hours with his beautiful mom Lisa. We just loved our boys, tried to keep them fed and be there for them. Wayne was a sweet heart, always called me Momma and gave the best bear hugs. My Mother's heart is breaking not only for the loss of Wayne but how much I know my son will miss him for the rest of his life. Kyle Longbine truly blessed me with introducing me in to this family. Key member of one of the better defenses in Childress history. The 98-99 Bobcat defense was full of high motor guys, and number 75 was always right in the thick of the action. One of my favorites.
