This hero of a man was part of my entire childhood, he and Betty were bonus grandparents to me. I'll never forget the time when I was about 8, Wayne had grown some peppers in his garden and brought some to my grandparents. On a dare from Wayne I ate one. It was the hottest damn pepper I had and have since eaten. He was everywhere in my home town, always had a smile and a greeting of hey Case . He was one of the greats, Rest In Peace sir.
