In Memory Of Wayne Nicholson Funeral services for Wayne Nicholson, age 58, were held 2:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2008, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Oak Grove. Rev. Audie Richardson officiated. Interment followed in Reeks Cemetery in Pioneer. Wayne Nicholson was born on August 22, 1950 in Helena, AR. and passed away on September 12, 2008 in Pioneer, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Nicholson; special friend, Lois LeBrun; brother-in-law, Cecil Harris; brother-in-law, Wayne Edmonson; and sister-in-law, Laverne Nicholson. Survivors include 4 children, Tracy Nicholson of Pioneer; Bryan Nicholson of West Helena, AR; Amanda Terry and husband, Willie of Pioneer; and Derrick Nicholson of Little Rock, AR; 2 step-children, James Tidwell and wife, Lora of Pioneer; and William Greenwood and wife, Penny of Pioneer; 6 Grandchildren; 6 Step-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Granddaughter; 5 sisters, Bessie Parker and husband, Huel of Helena, AR; Mable Smith and husband, Bobby of Rhondo, AR; Wilma Edmonson of Oak Grove; Kathleen Smith of West Helena, AR; and Barbara Gayle Cummings and husband, Harold of Jackson, Tennessee; 2 brothers, Vernon Nicholson and wife, Lee; and Ricky Nicholson of Pioneer; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers were William Greenwood, Pete Johnson, Craig Amerson, William Hopkins, Steven Smith, and Bryan Harris.
