Not sure what to say?

I am very sad right now. Just learned of Wayne's passing. I am thinking of you all with fond memories of my years at Pealer's, the wonderful "family" of employees, and how nicely we were all treated by the Pealer family. Also remembering the picnics at the lake-they were lots if fun! Caring thoughts to you all. Cherish your memories. as I will. Fondly, Kathy Hooper

Dear Katy and Family, So sorry to hear about Wayne. As everyone has mentioned, working for the Pealers will always bring back many wonderful memories. One fond memory is working in the Wreath Room during holidays, and there was always lots of bantering back and forth when Wayne would pop his head in to see our progress. We will all miss Wayne very much, and I will miss seeing him driving around Dillsburg in his gray El Camino! He was a "pip", one of a kind. My prayers are with you. ...

Dear Brad, Catie and lucy, The world is less bright without Wayne in it. He was one of a kind and one of the best! As everyone on here has said, working for "The Pealer's" has ruined all future jobs forever. No other employers ever treated me with the respect and loyalty as Wayne and his brothers had.I had many conversations with Wayne while making those lovely cemetery cans up in station#1. It was while working away one summer afternoon when I confessed to him, that I knew Brad and about a...

Wayne will be greatly missed. My thoughts go out to the family.I always respected Wayne for appreciating the efforts of his employees and not asking them to do something he wouldn't be willing to do himself.

My thoughts and prayers are with ya'll.

We really appreciate and enjoy everyone's stories, thoughts and prayers. It is good to know that he will be remembered so fondly.
Thank you, Catherine, Brad and Lucy
Keep sharing!

As a 16 year old kid, looking for a
part-time job, I remember sitting across from Wayne for my interview. Never did I think at that time that
the flower business would become my
career. At Pealer's I had the best of times and made the best of friends.
It truly was a wonderful place to work.
To me it's an end of an era. Wayne will be deeply missed. With my deepest sympathy to Katie and family.

I'm sad to hear of Uncle Wayne's passing but will remember him when he was in his prime, enjoying his work at the flower shop and relaxing by taking in a view of the lake during those summer weekends.

My thoughts and prayers to Aunt Katie and Family.

My sincere sympathy to all the family
