The Wayne Poff I knew

The times he spent with us
We will never forget
Nor the smile he had for
All those he met.
No task was too great,
When on him you'd call
He was not predudice,
but loved one and all.
His leaving left a place,
no one can fill
We miss him deeply and we always will.
Our hearts miss him now and
we'd love to see him once more
He now abides with the "masters"

We want to wish all of the family our deepest condolences in the passing of Wayne to the higher abode.
God bless and be close to each of You.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Waynes passing. He will be missed by so many. He was a kind & generous man. May he rest in peace.

I had the great pleasure of becoming Wayne's neighbor in 1996. As I tore apart my house, Wayne's carpentry knowledge was invaluable, often delivered over the fence in his Sunday best. And his garden was an inspiration to us all. We fished together at Freshwater Lagoon once. He was an honest, caring, hardworking person and will be missed.

we have been missing wayne at the mailbox. such a great guy. i think of wayne everytime i see a tomato, yum. he grew the best and shared the most. so nice to come home from work and find a little pile. i hope someone wrote down the words to the cutest little ryme ever that wayne used to sing about how to make a ford. (ya put it on a board and call it a ford) it sounded like wayne led an interesting and sometimes hard life. he also seemed like a very contented man. we will miss you wayne,...

Dear Poff Family, I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He was not only a wonderful neighbor to our family for 55+yrs, but a great friend. I don't remember my life without "Mr Poff" living next door. He was there to help with my Dad's projects and he was there to help us build our home next door. He will be sorely missed, but we'll always have a piece of him in our hearts.

Garry & family, so sorry for the loss of Wayne. He was an awesome guy. Was a great neighbor 58+ years ago. Great talking to you on the phone when I was in California.:)
