Not sure what to say?

Met Wayne back in the late 70’s as i was the owner of a bowling and trophy supply shop in Daly City, Ca..he loved to bowl and i drilled him equipment and he gave me haircuts..we hung out together for the next couple of years, became friends with his then wife, Sherry..we did a lot together during those few years..always a good time!! Lost contact with him when i moved to San Luis Obispo area and he moved to the Sacramento area..so had not spoken to him for maybe 30 years..sorry to hear of...

Only finding out now about Wayne's passing from our mutual friend Bob Zingmark, I am sadden to hear about it as we were old friends too from the Richmond District as well as in the same class. Turns out later that we were kindred souls with our involvement with music, but we never got to play together. My condolences to his family and friends. God speed, old buddy.

I met Wayne when I moved to LWW 20 years ago. He was a master at cutting my hair and we shared a life time of memories as we were both from San Francisco. Even though we didn't know each other then, we had a lot of things from that time in our lives in common. I will miss my friend a lot. Bonney Ricoli

Wayne and his family were a constant presence in my life and my family's, beginning in the late 1940s Marina - then later Richmond Districts of San Francisco. Although we pursued goals which separated us professionally and geographically, we never lost touch, always calling one another year after year to celebrate our birthdays. I'll miss Wayne and hearing his cheerful singing voice. God bless him, and his family.
