Sorry to hear about Wayne´s passing, I knew him in college, good guy!

Wayne was a great friend when we were at Stanford and in Group 28 in Germany. He even convinced me to go back the next year to Vienna and then again to Beutelsbach. Darn him, he didn´t go with me so he could spend his senior year on campus. God I loved that guy. I was so sorry to hear of his passing.

Such a heavy loss. I will always fondly remember our freshman year together at UC-Santa Barbara, where Wayne (aka "Raff") did his flawless impersonations of John Wayne, Ed Sullivan, and many others, including me. And, of course, there were those inimitable, pun-filled Christmas cards year after year. What a blessing that Wayne lived such an adventurous life, as documented in his terrific memoir "Thank God I Got Polio." May God rest his soul. See you on the other side, brother.

I was so very sorry to see that Wayne has passed away. He was a most amazing guy; funny, smart, engaging, and always with a twinkle in his eye. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences.

So many fond memories of Wayne and Kaye over the many years in San Diego beginning with our newlywed days! Our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences! Beatriz & Graham
