Not sure what to say?

Wayne saw no fault in others. He was always ready to give you the benefit of doubt regardless of what others say about you. Wayne was "GOD sent", and I still miss him.

To Stella and family, .... "The life of the dead is place in the memory of the living." M. T. Cicero
May the memory of your love one and God love warm your hearts. "Jeannie"

Thanking God for the gift that Coach Reese was to his family, community and the city of New Orleans. "Well done, good and faithful servant". My he Rest in Power. I am holding his wife, Stella, and his family in my heart and prayers.

I just found today about the passing of Coach Reese. I am sending my condolences and prayers to his family. I meet Coach Reese when I was just starting my teaching career in New Orleans in 1995. He was kind and always supported his players. In fact, Coach Reese and his players even helped me move with nothing asked in return. I will always remember his warmth and patience as an educator.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Great Man outstanding father and husband. If coach Reese liked you, you had a friend for life. I was shocked to hear of his passing. Great coach and mentor of young men. He will be missed. RIP Coach! My sympathy goes out to his family.

May of the light of Christ and the Love of Wayne continue to rain on the Reese family. He will be missed.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

The Head coachs @ the time were Coach's Winston Burns.Sr. with assistance coaches, Allen, Stuart, Saunders, Herman Bacchus, and Roy Glapion to name a few.
Wayne was always a 'True' athlete with the wiliness to work hard and be the best at his positions.
Then, we met in 1963 at Xavier Prep High School. There, we were...
