Not sure what to say?

Wayne was my roommate at Michigan Tech. He was very helpful to me with my wifes dementia. I think I last talked to him in March or April of 2020. I tried to reach out to him in November or December and could not get in touch with him, no email or phone. I finally had a friend from Holland, Michigan get me the telephone numbers of all the Roots in that area, thinking that he still had a brother in Holland. I did talk to a Root but he said he was no relative. He called me back a little...

I was a roommate of Wayne´s at Michigan Tech in the 1960´s. I had been in contact with Wayne up to about a month ago and had heard about the loss of Nancy his wife. I couldn´t reach him for about a month and just found out about his passing. I am sorry to hear about his passing and want to express my sympathy to his children. In the past 10 years or so we had occasionally seen Wayne and Nancy in Florida and visited them at their home in Moneta, VA. Jim Bolthouse

When Wayne returned from his South American assignment, he became my boss for a short while. He was knowledgeable, fair and supportive. Later as a peer and equal he continued as supportive, and helpful. He was the only peer associate that always remembered my birthday, and my age. And he and Nancy always sent a Christmas card. I am without words to express their loss.

I want to offer my condolences to your family for the loss of Mr. Root. I have fond memories of coming over to your house during my elementary school years and playing basketball with Mike, Eric, and Jenny. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that you will share comfort with each other during this difficult time.

Saddened to learn today of Wayne's passing. Had the pleasure of working with Wayne in Celanese; he will be missed greatly. Prayers for all his family and close friends.

So sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
