Dear Marilyn and Family,

I was shocked go read about Wayne's death. Somehow it seems that people
our age aren't suppose to pass away yet.

I became acquainted with the Schmucker family when we all lived on North Avenue. Our families (Jack and Ruth Werkema) continued to be
friends after each family moved to different homes.

Thinking back, I think we attended your wedding. I know we attended Gord's, Yvonnie's and Nancy's.

You, your children and Wayne's siblings...

We love you dad. Thank you for being such a great role model. You were the best example of what "love" means. We miss you already. Your parting has left a void that we will try to fill with remembered joys. Your life has been full that you savored much; good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. We will remember you always.
