Wayne J. Singer, 77, of Montrose, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Meadow View Senior Living Center. He was born on September 3, 1936, in Montrose, PA, to the late Kenneth E., Sr., and Alice G. (Evans) Singer. His wife of 52 years, Madeline A. (Stilson) Singer, predeceased him.
Surviving are his four children and spouse, Terry Singer, Kirkwood, NY, Penny Singer, Binghamton, NY, Candy Singer and fiancé Tim Murray, CT, Kay and David Mack, Montrose, PA, three grandchildren, Chris Manley, Diana Hicks, Nathan Singer, great granddaughter, Jordan, four brothers and sisters-in-law, John Singer, Hallstead, PA, Ken Jr., and Kay Singer, Montrose, PA, Gary and Pat Singer, Vestal Center, NY, Evans and Lola Singer, Owego, NY, two sisters, Linda Rockwell, Montrose, PA, Nancy Coddington, Montrose, PA, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A sister-in-law, Shirley Singer also predeceased him.
Wayne liked to fish, grow tomato plants, watch NASCAR, and go snowmobiling; but mostly; Wayne loved to tinker.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Kadlecik, of the Bridgewater Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the South Montrose Cemetery. Visitations will on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
