Not sure what to say?

Dearest Sollwold Family,
I am Mark, the winemaker who would pass by Wayne's roasted almonds kiosk at the Farmers Market each Saturday and talk with him for forever on every subject. I will certainly miss this now. My most sincere condolences to you and your family. He was the perfect friend those mornings!

Dr. Wayne was my mentor on the SW High School Cross Country team so many years ago. A tireless humble leader and family man who touched so many lives. May he rest in peace!

Wayne and I spent many hours together at Southwest H.S under the coaching of the great Al Halley, running many miles and winning many championships. One I remember fondly was setting the four mile relay record at the Minneapolis Relays with Wayne, Ray Lessard , Jerry McNeal and myself around 1957, I think. He also followed me to Drake University where we ran cross country and track. He lost a wonderful friend ,Tommy Rivers to an accident ,after his sophmore year and that kind of ended his...

Cindy and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. Remembering all the fun times we had riding and showing horses with you all and our Friday night dinners. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Wayne will surely be missed.

Dear Wayne...we all say the same thing and I repeat...what a great, thoughtful and thought provoking friend to all...you will be missed by all and my deepest condolences to you, Cindy, and your family...the loves of his life.

I am so privileged to have benefited from Wayne through his chiropractic talent. And also privileged to have been able to teach him how to ride and show a horse. His vitality has been and always will be an inspiration to me. My prayer for Cindy and the rest of the family is for comfort and strength at this difficult time.
