Wayne Terry

Wayne Terry, 65, of Asheville, died on Sunday, February 15, 2009, at Memorial Campus Mission Hospitals. Mr. Terry was a son of Helen Blackwell Terry George, of Danville, VA and of the late Chiswell Dabney Terry. Mr. Terry had worked as a Vice President at A.B. Burton Construction Co. before starting his own company, Terry Enterprises. He was a member of the Elk Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Libby Gillespie Terry; daughter, Lisa Terry Foley and husband Phillip, of Charlotte; sons, Chiswell Wayne Terry, Jr. and wife Robbyn, of Lenoir, and Kenneth Keener and wife Jamie, of Asheville; brother, Mark Terry, of Asheville; niece, Christi Terry; nephew, Cody Terry, and eight grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. Terry will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with Pastor Jed Douglas officiating.
