To Charlotte and Charlie,
I am so sad and so sorry. I will always remember Wayne as one of the most tender-hearted people I ever knew. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Wayne Jr. was a kind-hearted man who I'll remember as jovial and curious. When we were younger, he was always able to keep my sister and I smiling at family gatherings. Wayne Jr also shared some fun stories about Myrtle Street (where I now reside in Atlanta) as he also lived on this historic avenue during his travels around the South. My impression was that he tried hard at the projects he tackled. He will be missed.
