Cannot believe it has been four years. I still think about this man. This world needs more people like Wayne Vendetto.

Vendetto Family
We were saddened to read of Wayne's passing. He was a great person who will be missed by everyone that knew him. He was a true gift to the city of New London. He can now join his family in heaven. Rest in peace Wayne

Wayne was a very special person. I met him in high school as our surnames were at the end of the alphabet and our homerooms were in the same hallway. He was always smiling!

Throughout the years I would see him around town or at Sears.
Then our paths began to cross more regularly when I was working at the courthouse.

He was a very friendly, warm, kind and special person.

I remember talking with Vendetto on many occasions when I did come down to City Hall, he was a such a nice person. He will be solely miss.

My condolences to the Venditto family.

Mr. Vendetto was such a generous, kind, sophisticated and smart man. He was an integral part of what made old New London the great city it was. Losing someone like Wayne Vendetto is a great blow to the character of the city - he will be sorely missed.

--The Miceli Family

I worked with Wayne at Sears in a different department and he was a great mentor and friend. After he retired, we'd run into each other and it was like no time had elapsed. A truly amazing man with so much generosity. He will be greatly missed.

Love to his family,

Deb

As a fellow classmate of Wayne at NLHS, I have fond memories of sharing wonderful and fun times with him. My deep, sincere condolences I extend to his family and may he find a restful place now as he was certainly a giving, caring and loving man to all.
