i used to listen to Wayne on WDJC on "Dixie Gospel Caravan" every night. I loved the gospel music that he played. We could call in and request songs for him to play. My cousin called him all the time to request songs. He will be greatly missed. John used to check him out at Walmart in Bessemer.

I first knew about Wayne because he played my favorite kind of music, Southern Gospel.
