Wayne C. Wallace, 57, of Gardner, ND, died Friday, October 2, 2015, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Wayne Charles Wallace was born January 14, 1958, in New Rockford, ND, to William and Florence (Borthwick) Wallace. He was raised on a farm near McHenry, ND and educated in McHenry. Following high school graduation Wayne attended and graduated from the auto body course at the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He lived in Killdeer, ND where he worked on the oil rigs and at Cenex. He married Annette Pohl, October 16, 1996, in Fargo. He was the owner-operator of an over the road trucking business. Wayne's wife, Annette , later joined him in trucking. Wayne loved cars, big engines, camping and spending time on the pontoon and especially his dog, Mazie. Surviving is his wife: Annette of Gardner, ND; step-children: Sheri (Loren) Wibbels of Glyndon, MN and Robert (Melissa) Pohl of Buffalo, MN; 4 step-grandchildren: Allen & Brittany Wibbels and Abigail & Hunter Pohl; brothers: Bill (Deb) Wallace of Cooperstown, ND, Jerry Wallace of McVille, ND & Donald Wallace of Jamestown, ND; sisters: Shirley Wallace of Jamestown, ND, Mary (Elton) Tufte of Sioux Falls, SD, Carol (Jim) Mathews of Alamogordo, NM & Sara (Dwight) Ollman of Reynolds, ND; several nieces and nephews and his dog: Mazie He was welcomed into heaven by his parents: William and Florence and other older members of the family. We will be forever grateful for his life and fondly remembered in our hearts. Visitation Friday, October 9, 2015, 5 to 7pm followed by a 7pm Prayer Service at the West Funeral Home in West Fargo.
