Dear Jean,
Words can never express my sadness over the loss of Wayne. He was always such a very special person to me and so many others--they just don't make too many of 'em like him anymore.
Although I haven't been in touch directly for a little while, I have been informed of his condition as he fought his battle with that terrible disease. You've both been in my thoughts and prayers every step of the way.
