Not sure what to say?

On this anniversary of his untimely passing, I am reminded of the fifteen years that I had the good fortune to work closely with Wayne at the Department of State. Wayne set the standard in our office in terms of conscientiousness, diligence, and sheer competence in his daily productivity. He was also a fundamentally decent human being.

Happy Couple

OUR VOYAGE

Destiny is the everlasting river. Every lifetime is a stream. You will never see the hand that steers as we drift and wander through our dreams.

We cannot see the final destination eternity provides. Each of us has a course that must be navigated in swift currents deep and wide.

Lights ahead on the shoreline, whether a candle or the bonfire's blaze, show we can complete the journey others have already made.

January 26, 1974 -...

Wayne's parents and my parents were very good friends for many years. I am a few years older than Wayne, and we had no contact other than what our parents told us about each other, but he reached out to me a few years ago on Facebok and we shared old memories. Sorry to hear of Wayne's passing and my condolences to Sonia and his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I went to school with Wayne and since my maiden name was Wilson - we were in the same homeroom through out our junior and senior high school years. We exchanged some comments on Facebook after reconnecting there. He was always the gentleman and I am truly sorry that he is no longer here. May God comfort your heart through the days ahead.

Since our time as grad assistants at Penn State, Wayne and I have been good friends. I will miss him deeply in my life and am keeping Sonia in my prayers.

Wayne White was one of the smartest, most dedicated people I have ever worked with at the Department of State. He set a high bar for intellectual honesty. My condolences. Elizabeth Hopkins

So saddened. With a heavy heart, I pray that God give you strength and comforts you at this time. Peach

My condolences to Sonia and all of Wayne's family. He was a good man who was dedicated to our country and contributed to our understanding of the world.
