Please except our deepest condolences on the passing of a fellow Carbon County friend. Mark and Chad were dear childhood friends and enjoyed the guidance of Wayne, the older and wiser one. Peace be with you all. Much love, Chad and Betty Jo Mortensen

From the day we met, I could see the gentle kindness in Wayne's eyes. I will miss seeing his wink and smile before we left his room. Chocolate will never be the same as he made sure we all knew to take one before we left. Thank you Wayne and Ellen for being the epitome of love and grace even under the most trying of circumstances. How I love you both and will miss Wayne dearly.

I’m SO sorry you lost your husband. My heart hurts for you, I’ll miss seeing you if/when we get back into the care center. You are the best wife, a great person-I pray your heart heals.

It was a pleasure working with Wayne! I always looked forward to seeing his smile and he always showed gratitude for the small things. It has been a long time, but Wayne was a good friend and neighbor in Kearns. Sad to hear about his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ellen.

You was a great cousin even though we lost touch after our youth. Enjoy your reunion with your Dad and Mom and Aunts and Uncles. Harv

Wayne was the epitome of grace and gratitude throughout his illness. It was a joy and pleasure to try to help him a little bit through the trial and process; and we always felt bad when some procedure was uncomfortable for him. He was really good at the game where you had to come up with a word that began with the last letter of the word the other person said! :) Peace and love to you Ellen.
