I went to Sonoma to visit my folks for the holidays and sadly learned of Mr. Wirick's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Wirick family. As a child growing up in Sonoma, a trip to Broadway Lumber with my dad was always something to look forward to. Mr. Wirick always seemed to have a big smile on his face and was nice to us local kidseven tolerating my friends and I when we pestered the yard staff after riding over on our bicycles with our scraped together funds to buy supplies...

RIP Wayne...you were such a fun and crazy neighbor and friend. I will always remember you driving home for lunch in my grandfather's old 1 ton chevy pickup from the lumberyard. Say hi to Anne, your Dad and brother Kirk for me too!
