As stated before, I didn't know him, but ran across his obit and was truly impressed. From what I read, he's in heaven for his good deeds he left behind on earth. Happy birthday! Mary Jane Spruel

So sorry. I go to Carleton, and started researching Evelyn Andersojn Haymaker, once I read a blub ablout her in Anderson Hall and came upon this. My uncle died from suicide, so I know what the impacts are. Hope everything is well and will get better.

I live on the West Coast now, so I just heard about this today, more than a month after. I am devastated, and cannot begin to find the right words. Webb, you were an amazing young man and a gift to us all. There are no words for this. Rest in power.

Initially, as we both have just arrived to Connecticut, he reached out to me with his usual gentle and kind manner to ask for support in helping youth at risk in a job he had just started in New Haven, Connecticut. Quite quickly, what began like clinical supervision resulted in a friendship built on mutual admiration. I feel lucky to have met Webb and mourn his loss as his presence in my...
