Bob passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007, in Gary, Ind. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Cary Killough. Bob, son of Weldon and Bobbie J. (Farr) Hill, was born in Waco on June 24, 1952. He graduated from Richfield High in 1970. Bob earned a degree in business from MCC and a degree in instrumentation technology from TSTC. With additional courses from TSTC and other schools, he earned credits and was a systems and controls engineer. Bob was a founding member of of The Starlites Band while attending high school. He loved music and playing his bass guitar. Other hobbies included hunting, fishing, motorcycle and flying. Bob married Mildred "Millie" Pool June 18, 1976. He, Millie and son, Mike, made their home in Glenn Rose, Texas. Those left to cherish Bob's memory are his parents, Weldon and Bobbie Hill of Waco; wife, Millie Hill of Glenn Rose; son, Mike and wife, Tricia, and their son, Tyler of Roanoke; brother, Edward and wife, Sara, and their son Tyler of Austin; sister, Debbie Fedro of Waco; niece, Jennifer and children, Anastasia and Wyatt Randall; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and numerous other relatives and friends. I miss you and love you tons Uncle Bob! I learned a lot from you and think of you daily! Tell grandma and Michael I miss them and love them too! See you all one day in heaven!

I am sorry for the whole families loss.I thought very highly of Bob,,,he and Millie are great freinds of mine.I loved hearing his stories of all the places he had been.And all the people he met.My prayers go out to you Millie.May Gods love surround you.

I just found out about Bob's passing. My condolences to his family. I had not heard from or seen bob since high school, yet I had thought of him many times over the years. I wish I could have met with him before he passed. My prayers are with his family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing.We had some really good times in school together and always enjoyed times spent with his band and music.He was a good man and will be missed.
