Just learned of Ben King passing it was quite devastating news. I met Ben and Jancie through a friend back in 2010. What a lovely couple - they were so much in love. My phone crashed and I lost contact with Ben something in 2023, I knew of his cancer, and had been praying for him. I kept searching for Ben on the internet and ran across Jancie´s obituary today. I was so sad to learn Ben´s passing this summer. I knew him from Market Street in Plano. He always helped me out with my groceries and we would chat the whole time. He was so kind and friendly, and I truly enjoyed the short little visits with him. He was always kind, upbeat, and friendly, a bright spot in my day. My deepest condolences to his family and friends, and I pray that the memories of him will help temper the grief you feel.

Ben was the most wonderful man with a great big heart! We enjoyed country two stepping, family dinners, and just being together. We had only a short time together never long enough. I will cherish the memories forever. I wish he was here with me yet I am glad he is no longer suffering with pain from the horrible cancer in his body. He fought a good fight until the very end. He died peacefully at home when his heavenly angels escorted him into the gates of heaven. I will always love you,...
