Not sure what to say?

Thank you to all for the prayers of hope and comfort only God can give through His Holy Spirit. Grandpa is blessed with so many that love him.
Unfortunately, death is a part of life but we can rejoice in the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Through Him, we are saved!
I have many happy memories with Grandpa and I will always treasure them.

I was blessed to know Wellington at the Gilbert Senior Residence. I loved to hear his stories of the history he lived, especially those of the "Horse Calvary". What a historic treasure this man. I am assured that he is at home with the Lord in His eternal love. ~ Sherry Perkins, Raindrop Therpay.net

To all who share your thoughts and memories, thank you.
A memory I have is one day grandpa and I were working on his "farm" in Davisburg. While standing next to a horse names Patches getting ready to ride, the old girl just started running with my hand caught around the reins. Here I am being dragged by the horse when I am only about 10 years old what felt like almost an eternity. When Patches finally slows down and grandpa sees us, he says to me " way to hold on to that horse,...

As old as I have gotten to be, I've never been able to call him "Red" or "Bill" - he has always been "Mr. Relyea" to me, because I respected him so much. He was a mentor to my first husband, Sherman Beeler, and to our young family back in the 1970s. I can picture him in so many settings -- camping with the Methodist youth group, concerts in the parlor, hayfields around the house in Holly. I have seen him only once or twice in the years since I moved to Illinois, but the memories will always...

My Uncle Red, as his neices and nephews called him will be missed. As my father, (his brother) grew older Uncle Red was very good to him. He would stop by to take him out to lunch or just sit and talk about growing up in Atlanta at the lumber camp, and on Hill Rd. in Grand Blanc and all the crazy things they did as boys. I was his flower girl when he married Aunt Eunice. I can still remember that day at the old Baptist Church in Grand Blanc many years ago. My sympathy goes out to my cousins...

I'm so sorry to read of Bill's death. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

May God see your family through this difficult time, but also cherish all the loving memories they have of you and Eunice and knowing that you are once together again. I always enjoyed seeing you come to see Cherie at Bryant, too.
