Wells W. Whitney Jr.

Wells was a great guy and pilot. I was a flight engineer in the 732nd and flew with him on several occasions. RIP Skip!

Skip -- I'm sorry I missed your life since high school in Longmeadow. But reading your bio I am glad I got you into ski racing. And I'm sorry I just caught this now. Skip--you lived a full life and protected my family with your long service. To his dear wife, my deepest condolences. Skip, Joren, Neal and I were buddies and ski raced together endlessly. Blue Skies my 732 family member, I can not recall any event flights with Skip , They were always the best kind! Rest in Peace .

I am so sorry that Skip passed away. I feel Blessed to have met him at Schweitzer and became friends with him. What a kind, humble, accomplished man. Rest in Peace & Paradise Skip.
